When Meg gets turned down for a date, she asks her family for support. Lois ends up taking her to the mall, where she gets the ultimate makeover. Meanwhile, Peter tries to start a band with the guys, but when their first gig fails, the family ends up performing. When Brian is moved to teach a class of troubled kids, Chris falls in love with his new teacher, Mrs. Lockhart, who promises to love Chris only if he kills her husband. But when Peter crashes the car, he decides to pose as Mel Gibson to stay in his fancy hotel suite, where they find a copy of a “The Passion of the Christ” sequel. When a heat wave hits Quahog, Peter gets Brian to enter a dog show to win $500 so that the family can get a new air conditioner. When they argue over a trick gone bad, Brian walks out on the family and Peter replaces him with a cat. Brian struggles to assert his civil rights and soon ends up at the pound. Chris loses interest in being a youth scout, as he would rather pursue drawing and art instead. When the Scoutmaster kicks Chris out of the troop, Peter takes the family to New York to try to get him reinstated, but he takes a wrong turn on the way and the family ends up at a Native American casino. Lois gets obsessed with the slot machines while Peter goes on a vision quest to prove that he has Native American blood in him. (more…)

Brian and Stewie go on another road trip through alternate universes using a special remote control. Including a post-apocalyptic world, a parallel world run by dogs where humans are pets and a universe reminiscent of the show Robot Chicken.
